Road Trip: Craters of the Moon National Monument

Back to the road trip posting with Craters of the Moon National Park. The park, located in the middle of nowhere Idaho is unlike anyplace else I have been. It is the result of a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago that has charred the land ever since. It is truly beautiful, in a barron, dead sorta way.
