With a passion for documenting the way people live and what drives them in life, William Lounsbury is a photojournalist dedicated to showing truth.

A recent graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in Photojournalism, William worked diligently throughout his college career taking opportunities to photograph for the student paper, The Maneater, as a freshman and sophomore and volunteering for a variety of assignments during his semester working for the Columbia Missourian.

In the fall of 2010 William studied for a semester in Aarhus, Denmark at the Danish School of Media and Journalism where he completed a photojournalism course. His time there took him to Romania photographing the Roma community

After Graduating, William moved to Kansas City, Missouri where he was a regular contributor to The Pitch, a weekly culture and news magazine, photographed 95 restuarants for a guide book, KC’s Best Restaurants and photographed stories for national publications The Boston Globe and Chronicle of Higher Education.

After a year working in Kansas City, William has relocated across the ocean and now lives in Paris, France where he is perfecting the language and works on personal projects in his free time. He is available to work in and around Paris or wherever a good story develops.
