Danish Fishermen
I few weeks ago I spent 3 and half hours out in the Aarhus bay with 2 Danish Fishermen, neither one spoke any english. A man at the dock spoke to them for me and they agreed to let me go out with them.

In celebration of the Århus Festival some students at the University organized a flash mob with the theme of friendship and love. 3 minutes, no one moved.

This is from a project I had for class in which we had to use our flash. One portrait and one 5 picture series.
I first want to say ignore the picture of the newspaper. Yes it is crap, lets not dwell on it. My goal on the series was (for me) to do something new and different and something Rita probably would have hated. I think I succeeded. I also tried to shoot in a new way and (with the exception of the newspaper photo) I think I did a pretty good job.
Back in Business
As I’m sure most of you know, I have been without a computer for about two weeks, but I am happy to report I am back in business and it is time for me to post again on my blog!

Aarhus, Denmark
One week in Denmark.
My first week here in Aarhus is now over and school is about to begin. So far it has solely been an experience of exploring the city and meeting the people (mostly the international students, but many danes as well). Figure out the busses, trains and roads and Aarhus is a fabulous city to explore.
